Depression – What Is It Good For?Absolutely Nothing
I’ve had many periods of time during my own life when I have been downright miserable and unhappy. The day-to-day choirs and trials have obviously made their mark and there have been many a time when I have failed to see the wood through the trees, as it were.
Before I continue on with this post I need to indicate that I am not involved within the depression industry ,but instead the natural health and wellness sector .I personally work to share with anyone who will listen how important protecting their good health really is.And how nutritional health supplements can provide you with the vital nutrients that one maybe missing as a result of bad eating habits.
You do know that the keys to good health is the best diet and physical exercise I have worked and undertook studies to learn ways in which to defeat depression and stress. I’m now way more able to overcome these type of situations. I still do find myself becoming down but now I have a variety of approaches and tricks to help me to quickly get back to happiness.
The very first thing I do when I first feel a bit down or depressed is to write a summary of all the things which are making me feel like this. As opposed to doing what I used to do, which was to worry a whole lot about each of them, which only makes each problem a great deal larger, I now look at each item on the list and try to find a solution.
That isn’t that easy to do but is critical in combating the demons I believe which are scheming to make me think in a undesirable way. A number of the items on the list are difficult to find solutions for. It is then a case of talking to myself; to my inner voices if you like.
I remind myself that being worried does not help any given situation knowing that all I can do in life is to try my best. At the end of the day what is the worst thing which will happen? I have realized that I manage to get down and despondent when I am over tired. Now when I feel over-tired, I ensure that I go to bed a lot earlier than normal during the next few days and then try to avoid drinks like coffee, late into the evening, which may keep me awake.
To help me to get to sleep I usually read a book which not just tires my eyes but also really helps to take my mind off the issues that I am worried about. I have also been known to employ a small snooze in the afternoons that helped me to to catch up on any lost sleep. I’m fortunate to have three young grand kids. They are full of life and don’t appear to have a care in the world.
These grand children have changed my life in a positive way and are a bundle of fun and joy. When beginning to feel a bit down and despondent, I spend as much time as I can with my grand children because they are what makes me satisfied and content. I can soon put aside my troubles and it also makes me appreciate what I have in life. For more information about how to defeat depression - “CLICK HERE”
